Here it is again, this week’s Friday Feast:
Appetizer: What is your favorite carnival/amusement park ride?
The beer stand. What?
Soup: How do you react in uncomfortable social situations?
What is this thing called “social situation?” I tend not to invite too many into my cave at once so as to avoid such things.
Salad: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy discussing deep, philosophical topics?
I’m not sure how “deep” politics is. It seems so obvious to me that government is evil, but many people seem to like government controlling their lives, so I guess I do…
Main Course: Did you get a flu shot this year? If not, do you plan to?
Oh, I do NOT want to get started on this government screw-up. Yes, again, this is a problem that government has CREATED while trying to “solve” another problem.
Dessert: Approximately how many hours per week do you spend watching television?
What is this thing called “television?” 😉 Well, okay, I guess a couple. I watch a little of football games and baseball games when they’re on — but I don’t watch much else. I try and catch House when I can, but I don’t get it every week.
Good Feast.
Happy Friday!
Here it is again, this week’s Friday Feast #170:
Appetizer: What is your favorite carnival/amusement park ride?
None, I started turning a brilliant shade of green at about age 28!!!
Soup: How do you react in uncomfortable social situations?
I laugh inappropriately.
Salad: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy discussing deep, philosophical topics?
Depends on who I’m discussing such with… the right person… 10, a two digit IQ person… 1.
Main Course: Did you get a flu shot this year? If not, do you plan to?
Not yet, I’m thinking about it through the company I work for. Most of my friends think it’s crazy and and will make you sick when you aren’t.
Dessert: Approximately how many hours per week do you spend watching television?
Not many… but I do love 4 channels, Classic movie channels like Oncore Westerns, HGTV, The History Channel, and The Food Network. I love to watch “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives”! I average about a couple of hours in the evening.
Thanks for stopping along, Raggedy!
Green? At age 28? Sheesh. You should try the beer stand.
Last time I got sick on beer, it was happy hour and I got into eating some really tasty Dill Pickles! They were great till they hit the pitcher or so of Michelob Lite! LOL!!!
Um….
Ewe!
Sad way to figure out that pickles and beer don’t mix, eh? LOL!!!
Maybe they just didn’t mix in the quantities you tried. I suggest you try again using different quantities!
You gotta be kidding… LOL! I avoid the mixing these days.
Plus I have an ulcer from dealing with bad choices in previous years so I just take it easy these days. A margarita or two after a good meal is the most I indulge in and only once in awhile. I do appreciate a cold beer from time to time too, but don’t mix it with too many spicy things.
One just learns their limits.
Ulcer? Once again:
Ewe.
🙂
Guess you won’t like my hot sauce suggestions, then.
Sorta Blogless Sunday Pinup
Happy Sunday! It’s cold out there, snow and ice happening, brrrrrrr. Of course, it can only be climate when it is warm. The climahysterics say it is weather when it is cool and cold. Need some warm thoughts. This pinup is by Gil Elvgren, with …
Oh send em on, my son can’t get anything hot enough! LOL!!! Once in awhile I just take a lot of prescription antiacid and have at it too! LOL!!! I’m quite insane when I get a craving for Nachos with a boatload of jalapinos! Morgan, my son, likes the Habernero sauce! Eh gad!
It’s about time for me to post about hot blog sauce. I love the stuff.
My son will be forever grateful. 🙂
